Scarred: Bit 1

Okay, peoples. Here it is. The first post in the new story in the new series Storisome. This story is called Scarred. It's about a girl who gets burnt in a freak fire. And that's all that I'm saying. you have to read to find out more. Also, I'm still an amateur writer, so, if you want to say something about it, let's keep it to constructive criticism. Please? Well, here you go. Enjoy.

Scarred: Bit 1

I remember it all. The fire’s searing hot burn as it enclosed the train.

The choking for air that was too scarce among the smoke. The tears being squeezed out of closed eyes because of the incredible speed the train was proceeding at despite the fire. The cruel, painful sensation that was experienced as the fire tore off metal, hair, and skin. And I made it through alive.
Even now I still have to face the mirror and say it over to myself again and again. I made it through alive. I made it through alive. What had happened on that train that August night was something no human should have had to live through. Most were lucky enough to die before the metal started tearing. I had not that kind of luck. I am never able to close my eyes in peace anymore. I lay awake in my bed every night. If ever I am able to sleep, it is always a fitful night full of nightmares; nightmares that grab on to my deepest fear and don’t let go no matter how hard I shake them. The fire is always there, along with the pain it brought. And I always wake up right after the fire.

So, what do you think? A little prologue to hook some readers, huh? Well, I need some comments before I post some more of this. Yes, I'm not afraid to play that kind of game. Comment=more Storisome. Keep it coming! :)

  1. Just so you know, dear readers, I have the second bit of Scarred all prepped and ready to go. But, I am not going to post it until there are some reactions, plus ones, facebook shares, comments, or whatevers. And may I mention, it is much longer than this little prologue.

Thanks for commenting! Like, seriously, no joke. You have no idea how encouraging comments are to us! We'll have to review it, first, before it's allowed on the site, though, so we hope you said something nice! Thanks, again!
